Cookie Policy
Last updated: 26 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how TuMCP uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website and use our services. The Operator is identified on our Legal page. For personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences, and—unless you opt out of non-essential categories—help us measure aggregated usage.
2. Technologies we use
In addition to HTTP cookies set by our domain or subprocessors, we may use:
- Browser local storage to remember optional preferences (for example your cookie consent decision under the key
tumcp_cookie_consent) until you clear site data or we bump the consent version. - Session-related storage managed by our authentication provider (Clerk) so you can stay signed in securely.
3. Summary table (approximate)
| Technology / area | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary (auth, security) | Login, session integrity, abuse prevention | Session or as set by Clerk / our app for security |
| Preference (e.g. theme via next-themes) | UI appearance | Until you clear site data or change device |
| Consent storage (local) | Remember measurement opt-out / confirmation | Until cleared or consent version refresh |
| Google Analytics (if enabled) | Aggregate usage unless you opt out | Per Google's cookie policy when active |
4. Cookie categories (detail)
4.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for core functionality such as authentication (via our identity provider), security, session continuity, and load balancing. They cannot be switched off through our cookie banner without affecting service availability.
4.2 Measurement (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics (Measurement ID configured via our environment) with Google Consent Mode v2 to understand aggregate traffic and improve the product. Measurement is enabled by default on your first visit. You can reject non-essential cookies using the banner, or disable measurement anytime in Your cookie preferences. Advertising-related consent signals remain denied for this product unless we integrate advertising tools in the future. IP anonymisation is requested where supported (currently configured).
5. Consent Mode v2
On load, analytics storage is granted unless you previously opted out stored under tumcp_cookie_consent; ad-related signals default to denied (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization). If you choose "Only necessary cookies" or turn off measurement in preferences, we update consent to deny analytics storage. Advertising-related signals remain denied for this product unless we explicitly integrate advertising tools in the future.
6. How to change or withdraw consent
- Use the Your cookie preferences section on this page to turn measurement cookies on or off at any time.
- You can also use the cookie banner when it appears (for example after clearing site data or when we bump the consent version).
- Browser settings allow you to delete or block cookies; blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect login and dashboard features.
Your cookie preferences
Measurement cookies (Google Analytics) are on unless you explicitly opt out. Strictly necessary cookies required for login and security cannot be disabled here.
